It’s been 15 years since Fashion Icon Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) has graced the runways of Paris and Milan ~ as it seems he has been in hibernation since the death of his wife, and loss of his son Derek Zoolander Jr. (Cyrus Arnold).

When Fashion icon and good friend Alexanya Atoz (Kristin Wiig) summons not only Zoolander, but Hansel too, back to the runway…its seems that these arch enemies – now BFF’s, have no choice but to return to the world that made them both FAMOUS…zoo4

Bound and determined to not only get his boy back, but to assist the head of Interpol’s fashion division, the voluptuous and breathtakingly beautiful Melanie Valentina (Penelope Cruz’) with her latest case ~ finding out who is killing all the POP STARS of the world…Zoolander, Hansel and Valentina find themselves face to face with a menace from the past ~ the mean and nasty Mugatu (Will Ferrell)…

Will Zoolander, Hansel, and Valentina be able to save the world – and more POP STARS from ultimate peril??? And will Mugatu finally meet his demise or live on to wreak havoc on the WORLD OF FASHION yet again???

I give ZOOLANDER 2 a rating of WAIT AND CATCH THIS ONE ON NETFLIX OR STREAMING:  Okay, so let’s cut to the chase…the only reason why this film didn’t get a rating of DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY is because of all of the INCREDIBLE CAMEO’S of POP & ROCK ICONS and FASHION DESIGNERS strewn throughout every frame of this film!!!  Sadly for Stiller, his decision do make a sequel for Derek Zoolander probably wasn’t one of his better moves, because between the shortfalls in the comedy that was attempted, and the slow and meandering storyline, he should have left the world loving “the original film” and stopped himself from embarking down this road.  Stiller and Wilson bring back their much beloved characters to this film, but they don’t seem to have as much POSH and PIZZAZZ as they did last time around.  And even with the addition of Cruz, Cumberbatch and Theroux this time around (Theroux helped write this one too), it still didn’t help make this film better than the original.   Heck, even with all the POP/ROCK STARS (Justin Bieber, Katie Perry, Lenny Kravitz) and FASHION ICONS (Anna Wintour, Tommy Hillfiger, Valentino) on board (just to name a few), you would assume that this film would become another iconic feature for all the world to SEE and fall IN LOVE WITH, but sadly, even with all of it’s STAR POWER, Zoolander 2 isn’t going to be headed anywhere but into a fast demise into the oblivion…enough said.
