Trainwreck, is brought to us by the same guy who brought us Bridesmaids. With a movie like Bridesmaids in your background you’re sure to make another great movie, well we hope so anyways.. train4

We start out meeting Amy, played by Amy Schumer, as her 9 year old self, along with her sister Kim, played by Brie Larson. Talking to their dad, played by Collin Quinn about the downfalls of being an adult and going through divorce. His take on why he and their mother is getting a divorce is quite funny and taken differently by each sibling. Kim, the younger sibling takes his advice and does the exact opposite. Getting married and having a family. Amy on the other hand does not. As we flash forward 23 years later and see the adult version of Amy. Coming home from a night out at the bar, she does what she does best and has one of many one night stands with a new guy. Of course never staying over, because that is her number one rule. Never stay over. Now Amy is not just going from guy to guy, she does have a boyfriend, Played by John Cena, who is very into Amy and ready to start a family. Unfortunately for him, Amy is not ready for that. train2

Amy works for a guys magazine writing articles about things like how to talk your guy into a three-way. So when she’s given the story about a sports doctor and the athletes he treats she is less than thrilled. Knowing absolutely nothing about sports, Amy takes on the story with the hope of getting a promotion at her job. Meeting Dr. Conner, played by Bill Hader she finds out quickly that he is not her typical guy. His best friend is no other than Lebron James, played as himself. Don’t be too hard on Lebron, I know some athletes aren’t that great at acting but he will surprise you. I looked forward to every scene he was in.

Amy and Dr. Conner hit if off and after a little persuading they begin dating. Doing what most couples do when they date. The only problem is Amy has never really been in a long relationship before and she’s having a hard time getting that he actually loves her for her. Watching this movie was a complete surprise. I really didn’t expect it to be the movie it was. I loved this movie. When I say love, I mean i could have watched it right over again. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me think, it made me happy. I am so glad a movie with everything a girl wants in it is finally here again. train3

Now please remember this is a rated R movie for a reason. It is def something you want to watch with your adult friends, and you will enjoy every minute of it. I give this movie an A+. I hope you go out this weekend and enjoy it as much as i did.
